This month, we’re moving into a new element in Traditional Chinese Medicine—the Metal element.
Metal is associated with autumn, a season when nature begins pulling inward and letting go of what it no longer needs. Leaves fall from the trees. Plants return their energy to their roots. Everything becomes a little quieter and more contained.
The same themes are associated with Metal energy in the body.
Metal is connected with structure, boundaries, receiving what we need, and releasing what we don’t.
The two primary meridians associated with the Metal element are the Lung and Large Intestine. Think about how beautifully they represent this exchange.
The Lungs bring something in.
The Large Intestine lets something go.
Receive. Release.
It’s a rhythm we repeat throughout our lives—not only physically, but emotionally as well.
This month, we’ll be focusing specifically on the Lung meridian.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Lungs are about much more than breathing. They are associated with taking in life-giving energy, helping circulate that energy throughout the body, and maintaining healthy boundaries between our internal world and the world around us.
And just as every inhale requires an exhale, the Lung also begins to introduce us to one of Metal’s most important lessons: knowing what to take in and what to let go.
Your Quantum Waves of Wellness frequencies this month have been selected to gently support the Lung energetic pathway and the balancing qualities associated with the Metal element.
A question to consider this week:
What are you ready to breathe more of into your life—and what might you be ready to breathe out?
