In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Late Summer is associated with the Earth Element which is comprised of the Stomach and Spleen meridians. This is the season of harvest, when gardens are overflowing, farmers’ markets are bursting with color, and nature provides an abundance of nourishment.
Unlike spring, which encourages growth, or summer, which invites activity and expansion, Late Summer reminds us to gather, receive, and replenish. Traditionally, this was the time when people ate well and stored energy for the colder months ahead when fresh foods would become scarce.
As you move through this week, notice the abundance that surrounds you. Nourishment comes in many forms—not just food, but also rest, relationships, and experiences that leave you feeling supported.
A question to consider this week:
What is nourishing you right now?
Your frequencies this month will be focused on nourishing and balancing Stomach energy.
